Become comfortable in every corner of the pool. Learn to change directions, go up and down, maneuver at will.
Master your nose. Bring a wetsuit shirt and fins—preferably full foot rubber snorkeling fins that fit like slippers. Smaller fitness fins are okay. Full foot rubber snorkeling fins are pictured on the swimmer above.

Arlington Park Pool is a large city pool with a 13.5 foot deep end.
New College’s pool is 12 feet deep and the best pool for adult lessons in Sarasota.
A $200 nonrefundable deposit reserves your space in class. We will take up to 10 students. We’ll have at least one spotter and at NCF, our own lifeguard.

The Marriott Residence Inn almost across the street from the SRQ airport and NCF pool usually offers us a rate of $139 for a suite with bedroom, living room and kitchen.
The course fee is nonrefundable with the exception of our Guarantee.
